The development of CONSTRUKTS (TM) has been a collaborative process across many disciplines from the arts to electrical engineering with professional contract designers, engineers, corporate partnerships, academics, and students. The most important aspect of the CONSTRUKTS (TM) project has been collaborative learning and discovery. Sharing our insights and skills in an open, non-judgmental environment enabled the development of a system that is much larger than the skills and perspective of any one team member or discipline.
CONSTRUKTS Team (2014-2023): Learning and Labor from coast to coast in the U.S. and abroad.
Undergraduate and graduate students have collaborated with professional designers, engineers, and learning scientists on CONSTRUKTS to find solutions for complex design and system architecture design and development. Students primary areas of study expanded across campus and academic departments to include: computer science, electrical engineering, visual arts, design, entertainment technology, theater, product design, architecture, information sciences, and cognitive science.
